An Inspection Committee of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla will visit the Department of Zoology, Dr. Y. S. Parmar Government P.G. College, Nahan, on 29 August 2026 to inspect the departmental facilities and infrastructure for the proposed commencement of the new M.Sc. Zoology programme from the current academic session 2026–27.

The visit marks an important step towards introducing Postgraduate studies in Zoology at the college, providing students of the region with enhanced opportunities for higher education and advanced learning in the field of Zoology.
