College Nahan is to provide the platform where our students can take up the opportunities and the challenges to do the things they are capable of and rise to their potential, on all front – curricular and cocurricular. We recognize that the primary role of an educational institution is to channelize the energies of the youth towards productive and creative goals through an unfettered knowledge.
Education plays a key role in the overall development of the society. The role of education is definitely not limited to giving and grasping knowledge and theory. The true goal of education transcends much beyond just acquiring a degree or certificate. As Shakuntala Devi said, ” Education is not just about going to school or college and getting a degree. It’s about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life. ”
We are going through an unprecedented global predicament today. Each one of us and the entire world is affected by the Corona virus pandemic. I would like to share your anxiety and preoccupations and express my solidarity with you and your family. Keeping in view the safety of students and to follow the protocol of covid _19, our college has started the 100% online process of admission.
In this difficult and anxious time, our talented and ever _willing to work staff, both teaching and non teaching, have been showing the care and concern for the college and students, working from home, preparing notes and engaging classes online for the benefit of students. I appreciate their concern for the students and commitment to academics.
Our college has recently been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), thanks to the staff and the students for this achievement.
I, on behalf of college fraternity welcome all the students and wish them all the best for achieving greater success and scaling new heights in the coming session.
